SR SCWR-50 Water Repellent

• SCWR-50 is a ready-to-use water repellent with advanced technology based on silicate concentrate. It renders hydrophobicity and strength to the mineral substrate.
• SCWR-50 is an impregnating water repellent based on silicate concentrate. It penetrates in surface to form a meshwork-like structure under the surface. This meshwork-like structure imparts water repellency leaving the surface breathable and permeable to water vapors. This decreases the chances of humidity inside the surface.

• Suitable for:

• Implant impregnation of aerated brick, clay, sand-lime brick, fibrous cement, mineral fibers, etc. 
• As water repellent primer for emulsion paints, plaster, silicone resin emulsion paints, silicon emulsion plaster. 
• In the mass treatment of non-load bearing concrete products. 

Suitable for:

• Water repellent for low-fired clay products. (roofing tiles, floor tiles, bricks, terracotta) 
• Water repellent for various natural stones, sandstone, gypsum Etc. 
• Consolidation and hydrophobization of mineral construction material and stone. 
• Restoration of natural stone

Not suitable for

• Glass, wood, metal, plastics

Surface preparation

• The surface should be air-dried and clean for the best results. 
• The surface should be free from dirt, grease, moss, algae, fungus, or efflorescence. 
• Surface cleaning may be done by sandblasting, water blasting, simply by washing, or by Shrinath Chemical’s cleaner.

Application

• Read the entire label before using it. 
• Test patch a surface before application. 
• Dipping method: substrate can be dipped in SCWR-50. Contact time would range from 5s to few minutes. 
• Using a spray gun. 
• For exteriors, if it starts raining immediately stop the application and cover freshly applied areas.

Cleaning of equipment:

• Clean with water using soap or detergent 

Precautions

• Should be applied only to fully cured new or old surfaces. 
• Protect against rain for at least 4hr after application. 
• The substrate should not be sealed in an airtight container right after the application of SCWR-50. 
• While application, any alkali sensitive material should be kept away. 

Care of product:

• Don't keep under direct sunlight. 
• Tight pack the container after use to maintain the product quality.
